My name is Michaela Klein – after studying and working in New York City, I recently moved back to my home state of Minnesota to work as a freelance designer.
Born and raised in St. Paul, I studied History at Northwestern University in Evanston IL. After working in Marketing and Publicity for a small publishing firm, I realized my passion was for design and art direction and I decided to devote my energy to pursuing a career in a more creative field. In 2012 I received my Masters from Pratt Institute's Graduate Communications Design program in New York, and have since worked for a number of amazing companies and organizations.
I always look forward to meeting people and working on new projects – design is so satisfying to me because it offers the opportunity to do something new and distinctive every week because every client is unique.
